Syoga Yaki (Pork Ginger)

(4 servings)
1lb. pork (thin slice)
3tbsp. soy sause
1tbsp. Sake (or white wine)
1tbsp. Mirin (if you have it)
11/2tbsp. sugar
2tsp. grated ginger
2tsp. grated garlic
1tbsp. vegetable oil


  1. Put all ingredients in a large bowl and knead the meat with seasonings by the hand.
  2. Marinate for at least 30min.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet.
  4. Add meat and saute it at a medium high heat until it is cooked completely.
  5. Serve with any kind of vegetable you like. Enjoy!
